About Us

Meet the Founder / Head of CIT Kids

Lashinika Ratnavibhushana

She left a promising career in banking to pursue a meaningful path; being a facilitator for the growth and development of our children. She is a graduate from the only official AMI Montessori Training Centre in Sri Lanka and holds an International Diploma awarded by the Association Montessori Internationale in the Netherlands. She believes in the holistic educational approach for children including training them to live sustainably from a young age.

Our Mission 

The mission is to unleash the potential of the child to approach life with wonder, excitement, and desire to share and care for the world they live in. Crucial to the mission is supporting the hardworking and talented women and mothers of the modern workplace. We aim to ensure they receive the support that fosters their capabilities.

Our Practice

Our practice focuses on supporting the growth of children's minds, bodies, and souls through an integrated and differentiated curriculum.  We also heavily emphasizes the importance of practicing sustainability as a responsibility to the world we live in.

We adhere to a holistic approach to early childhood education. When we expose children to different environments and various learning experiences, we allow them to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them.
